Flight Information


PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR FLIGHTS UNTIL YOUR PROGRAM HAS REACHED A MINIMUM OF 5 PARTICIPANTS. ONCE YOUR TRIP REACHES ITS MINIMUM, PLEASE INPUT YOUR ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE FLIGHTS INTO THIS FORM.


We have very specific arrival and departure times for your program. Please carefully read below and call us with any questions.


For those doing the Galapagos: Wildlife Odyssey (no extension):

  • Fly into and out of Quito Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO)

  • Arrive on anytime on the first day of the trip.

  • Depart on trip end date, after 9:30pm from Quito Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO).

  • Discover Corps books your domestic flight to the Galapagos Islands. This flight will leave Quito early in the morning on Day 3 of the trip with about 3 hours of travel time to Seymour Airport (GPS) on Baltra Island in the Galapagos. Entrance fees to the islands, transit cards & the flight are all coordinated and paid for by Discover Corps.

For those doing the Amazon Basin Extension:

  • Fly into and out of Quito Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO) on the first day of the Galapagos: Wildlife Odyssey trip

  • Depart on the last day of the extension from Quito Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO) anytime after 4pm (departures between Mon-Fri) or 5pm (departures Sat-Sun)

  • Discover Corps books your domestic flight to the Galapagos Islands. This flight will leave Quito early in the morning on Day 3 of the trip with about 3 hours of travel time to Seymour Airport (GPS) on Baltra Island in the Galapagos. Entrance fees to the islands, transit cards & the flight are all coordinated and paid for by Discover Corps.

  • Discover Corps books your domestic flight between Quito and Coca (Amazon). This flight leaves in the morning of Day 11 and returns between 12pm-2pm on Day 14.

Country COVID-19 Testing Requirements

Until further notice, it's Discover Corps' Policy that travelers take a COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours of departure. Negative test results must be sent to Discover Corps once generated. Please check the Department of State's site for the most up to date guidelines. When applicable, local policy or Airline Policies supersede what is in place for Discover Corps.

The country of Ecuador states that travelers, 14 years and older are required to take a COVID-19 PCR test. Based on Discover Corps' policy, this must be taken within 72 hours of departure. Negative test results must be submitted to Discover Corps before departure.

In order to travel to the Galapagos Islands, a 2nd PCR test must be taken no more tan 96 hours prior to arrival in the Galapagos. Discover Corps will arrange for the test to be conducted on the first day of the program. The cost is $88 per person and is subject to change, please inquire with your Travel Specialist.

Exit Requirements

Effective January 26, 2021, the CDC is implementing that all travelers returning to the U.S., have proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours of departing. Discover Corps will arrange for the testing to take place within the required timeframe, the traveler is responsible for the testing fee. Please reference Discover Corps' Risk Management Manual for a comprehensive overview of safety & health guidelines here.
