Flight Information

We have very specific arrival and departure times for your program. Please carefully read below and call us with any questions.
Fly into and out of Entebbe International Airport (airport code: EBB):
Arrive anytime on the first day of the trip - (the welcome dinner is between 7:00-8:00 PM)
Depart on the last day of the trip anytime after 7:00 PM
*There is an internal domestic flight in Uganda between Bwindi- Entebbe (EBB) on the last day of the trip. This is booked by Discover Corps (please send a copy of your passport to Discover Corps ASAP to facilitate this process). Domestic flights have 14kgs limit (1 checked bag) per person. The extra kilograms attract extra fees.
After you book your flights, please send the flight itinerary to your Travel Coordinator at claudia@discovercorps.com
Early Arrival/Late Departure
Discover Corps recommends that you arrive a day before to the first day of the trip to avoid any flight delays or cancelations. If you decide to arrive a day prior to the trip start date, Discover Corps can arrange the extra night + transfer for you, or you can book directly with the hotel. Please speak with your Travel Coordinator about the early arrival.
By booking with Discover Corps, we will arrange:
Extra night at the same room and hotel you will be staying on the first day of your trip (either Boma Hotel or Karibu Guest House, depending on the availability);
Transfer from the airport;
Staff to welcome you and pick you up at the airport and help you check in, if needed;
Medical Insurance for the extra night;

By booking directly with the hotel,
You can arrange the room with the hotel directly (not guaranteed that you will be in the same room on the next day);
You should also arrange your transfer from the airport (hotels should have a shuttle available)
We recommend Boma Hotel or Karibu Guest House. You will stay in either one, depending on the availability.
