Australia: Beachside Wildlife Adventure

Our Purpose

  • Learn from the rangers and conservation experts about the threats facing Australia’s magnificent indigenous wildlife, and the measures being taken to protect it.

  • Spend time volunteering in the region’s leading David Fleay's Wildlife Park, taking part in hands-on projects with iconic animals such as the koala and the kangaroo including gathering food and feeding the animals.

  • Venture to the Great Barrier Reef for a full day of exploring the world's largest reef system with Master Reef Guide.

What to expect:

Volunteer days 3-6 at Volunteer at David Fleay Wildlife Park located in Burleigh Heads in Queensland. Four 1/2 days.

Activities may include:

  • Helping care for the wildlife at the center

  • Preparing the food

  • Feeding the animals

  • Cleaning their enclosures

  • Planting around the grounds

  • Being of any assistance to the rangers and staff
