Q: What time zone does Alaska use?
Alaska Time, which is one hour earlier than Pacific Time and 4 hours earlier than Eastern Time. Alaska Participates in Daylight Savings Time.
Q: Any chance I can see the Northern Lights?
While active year round, it’s very rare that you can view the Aurora Borealis due to the constant daylight. The best chance is during the winter with dark nights and clear skies.
Q: What time does the sun set?
In July, the sun sets at 11pm. In August, the sun sets at 9:30pm.
Q: Are the boats safe?
All public boats in Alaska are Coast Guard Certified
