We have very specific arrival and departure times for your program. Please carefully read below and call us with any questions.
Arrival:
Fly into Tokyo Narita International Airport (NRT) on the first day between 2pm-5pm (this is when most flights arrive from N. America)
Departure:
Fly out of Osaka Itami International Airport (ITM) or Kansai International Airport (KIX) anytime on the last day. This transfer is included.
-OR-
Fly out of Tokyo Narita International Airport on the last day after 3pm. You will need to take a 2.5 hour bullet train from Kyoto to Tokyo and continue onwards to the airport once in Tokyo. We can arrange the bullet train for an extra $115 per person.
Discover Corps recommends that you arrive a day prior to the start date to avoid missing part of the trip in case of any flight delays or cancellations.
If you decide to arrive earlier:
You can book an early night at the hotel directly.
You are responsible for the transfer from the airport to the hotel.
Please reach out to your travel coordinator for the exact hotel you will stay in during the trip in Tokyo.
If you plan to arrive before the trip start date or stay extra days, and need help with booking a hotel and airport transportation, our partner Ask Ros, She Travels can assist you. You do not need to book flights to use the hotel and airport transfer service.
