Discover Corps recommends that you arrive a day prior to the start date to avoid missing part of the trip in case of any flight delays or cancellations.
Please note that if you decide to arrive earlier:
You can book an early night at the hotel directly.
You are responsible for the transfer from the airport to the hotel.
We can arrange pickup from your hotel on the first day of the itinerary if you stay in one of the recommended hotels listed below. If you choose a different hotel, you will need to arrange your own transportation to a meeting point in Cusco on the first day of the trip. Please inform your Travel Coordinator of your hotel accommodations.
The recommended hotels for early arrivals are:
Those are not the hotel you will be staying at for the first couple of nights of the trip. You'll be staying in the Sacred Valley for the first few nights, which is about a 2-hour drive from Cusco. We recommend spending the early arrival extra day in Cusco because it's easier to navigate and explore on your own.
If you plan to arrive before the trip start date or stay extra days, and need help with booking a hotel and airport transportation, our partner Ask Ros, She Travels can assist you. Please note, you do not need to book flights to use the hotel and airport transfer service.
