Guatemalan Quetzals - Please plan to pull Quetzals from the ATM machine upon arrival. Most businesses accept credit cards but some smaller shops may be cash only.  USD is not accepted. Remember to notify your banks that you are traveling so you are able to use your credit/debit card.

Tipping Guildelines

While you won't have to worry about tipping throughout the trip at meals, etc., we do encourage tips for our guides and drivers. We recommend a range below, and this is per traveler. Feel free to allocate this and give the equivalent of the amount below in Quetzals at the end of the trip; no need to tip them at the end of each day.
