About a week before your trip, you should have received your final itinerary and CISI Medical Insurance via email. Please review the checklist and make sure you have all items in order well in advance:
Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.
Visa: U.S. citizens do not currently need a visa for tourist stays under 90 days, but always double-check the latest requirements for your specific nationality.
Insurance: Print your CISI Medical Insurance card (emailed ~10 days before departure) and keep it with you.
Final Itinerary: Print your final itinerary. This contains important contact info, including our 24-hour emergency line.
Money: Credit cards are accepted in major cities, but Morocco is very cash-heavy. Use local ATMs to withdraw Moroccan Dirhams (MAD). Small bills are essential for tipping and markets ("souks").
Airlines: Verify if your carrier requires extra affidavits and confirm your flight times. Notify your Travel Coordinator of any changes.
Tech: Pack a Type C or E (European-style) power adapter.
Packing List: Dress is generally conservative. We recommend loose, breathable clothing that covers shoulders and knees. Don't forget a comfortable pair of walking shoes for the cobblestone Medinas.
Phone: eSIMs (like Airalo) work well, or you can pick up a local SIM (Maroc Telecom) at the airport.
Pre-Departure Call: Schedule a final conversation with your Trip Coordinator once you receive your itinerary to discuss last-minute questions.
