Bhutan: The Hidden Kingdom>

Bumthang Valley Extension: 

Day 9:  The final day of your core trip you will fly from Paro to Bumthang Valley in Central Bhutan. Spend the afternoon on a walking tour of the valley visiting Mebar Tsho or the "Lake of Burning Fire," the famed Tamshing Monastery and local dairy cooperative that produces artisan cheeses. 

Day 10:  Take a drive to the lush Tang Valley for a visit to the Ogyen Choling Palace and Museum followed by a visit to the Dechenpelrithang sheep farm and Wobthang Organic Wonders Farm, the largest farming project in Bhutan spanning over 2000 acres of land!

Day 11: Climb through the mountains over 10,000 feet to uncover the majestic Ura Valley. If you’ve dreamed of taking a step back into time in a rural Himalayan village where lush terraced fields and lofty hills retain a centuries-old civilization, this is the place. End the day with a relaxing traditional hot stone bath. 

Day 12:  Take a 45-minute flight back to Paro Valley and explore more of Paro. The rest of the day, your guide will suggest some local places allowing you to spend the afternoon based on your own interests (or simply relax back at our resort before the long journey home). Enjoy dinner together in the evening.

Day 13:  After breakfast, head to the airport for your journey back to New Delhi and onwards flight home.
