Belize is characterized by its year-round tropical climate. Temperatures typically hover around the mid-80's with tropical humidity. As in most tropical countries, there are dry and rainy seasons in Belize. The dry season typically lasts between December to April and the rainy season last between May to November. During the rainy season, be prepared for sudden tropical rainfall which typically lasts for a short period in the afternoons.

Short-sleeved shirts (we recommend thin, breathable shirts as it is can be hot and humid during the afternoons)
A warm sweatshirt / fleece (it can get cool at night)
Rain jacket (light weight, water resistant for sudden, unexpected tropical showers especially during the rainy season)
Gym / sportswear (for hiking / outdoor activities)

Several light pairs of long pants (there can be mosquitos along the coast)
